SIWI 2009: Greennovation: New Perspectives in Teaching and Learning
(Tuesday, August 18th - Friday, August 21st)

New Faculty Orientation: Click Here

For Returning Teaching Assistants: Click Here

Almost 10 years into the 21st century, the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL) is taking a fresh look at strategies for using innovation to encourage sustainable practices in teaching and learning.

CITL’s 2009 Summer Intensive Workshop Institute (SIWI) offers faculty an up-close and hands-on look to create a sustainable and innovative 21st century teaching and learning environment. SIWI 2009 offers faculty the opportunity to not only engage with instructional technologies currently in use at GW, but also to become aware of emerging tools and concepts through a series of interactive workshops. These workshops offer opportunities for faculty to engage in scenario-based problem-solving activities as well as guided how-to instruction.

Following is the overall breakdown of SIWI 2009. Faculty can register to attend all or a single day.
